Familiarize yourself with the Merge Names utility by completing these 3 steps in your FastFund environment:
- Access the Utility: Navigate to Utilities > Merge Names (located under the Data Management section).
- Review the Interface: Set the Entity Type to Constituent. Observe the Merge From and Merge To drop-down fields and note the instructional text explaining what data is automatically transferred.
- Locate the Delete Option: Visually locate the Delete After Merge check box at the bottom of the screen, which saves you the step of manually deleting the duplicate after the transfer is complete.
