Practice recording a promise to give by completing these 3 steps in your FastFund environment:
- Access the Pledge Screen: Navigate to Transactions > Pledges. Verify that the Account field automatically populates with your Pledge Receivable account.
- Enter a Split Pledge: Select a donor, enter an Amount of $1,000, and choose an Appeal. In the Gift grid, select your first Gift and change the amount to $500. Hit the Tab key to create a second line, select a different Gift, and enter the remaining $500.
- Set Up a Reminder Schedule: Click the Reminders text link above the gift grid. Practice setting up a schedule for 10 payments, and observe how FastFund automatically calculates the $100 monthly installments. Click Cancel to discard the transaction.
