Objective: specific tags to track a vendor type and a reporting designator.
1. Create an Account Designator: Navigate to Administration > Account Designations. Click New (+). Enter the name “Fringe Benefits Base” (to be used later for allocations). Click Save.
2. Create a Classification Code: Navigate to Lists > Data > Codes. From the dropdown, select Classification. Click New (+). Enter the name “Contractor” and Description “1099 Independent Contractor”. Click Save.
3. Create an Attribute Code: Stay in the Codes window. Switch the dropdown to Attribute. Click New (+). Enter the name “Local Vendor” and Description “Vendor located within county limits”. Click Save
