Objective: Configure the core identity and fiscal rules for your organization.
1. Enter Company Identity: Navigate to Administration > Company Setup. Enter your organization’s Name, Federal Tax ID, and Primary Address. Click Save.
2. Set Fiscal Rules: Click the Preferences tab. Set your Fiscal Start Month to January (or your actual fiscal start). Set the Posting Range to “12 Months” to allow flexibility during setup.
3. Enable Projects: Under Accounting Preferences, verify that the Project Tracking checkbox is selected to ensure you can track grants and events later in the course. Click Save.
