Lesson 2.4: Company Branding and Image Upload

FastFund Online allows you to personalize your external-facing documents, such as Client Bills, Donor Receipts, and Purchase Orders, by embedding your organization’s logo or other graphic images. This lesson covers the technical specifications for these images, how to upload them into the system, and how to manage your image library.

Image Specifications and Preparation

Before uploading your organization’s logo, you must ensure the file meets specific technical requirements. FastFund does not provide image editing tools within the application; images are displayed exactly as they are uploaded. Therefore, you must crop and resize your images before uploading them.

Required Specifications:

File Size: Must be limited to 1 MB or less.

File Type: Must be PNG, JPEG, or GIF.

Dimensions: Image proportions should be approximately 300 x 85 pixels to fit correctly within the standard document headers.

Pre-Processing: Because templates display images by default as uploaded, please crop and resize your logo in an external image editor to meet these proportions before uploading.

Uploading Images for Templates

To add a logo that can be used on your documents, you must upload it through the Utilities menu.

To upload a new image:

1. Navigate to Utilities on the Main Menu.

2. Under the Customization section, select Images.

3. Click the New (+) icon.

4. Click Browse to locate the file on your computer.

5. Enter a File Description and an Image Description to help identify the logo later.

6. Click Save to complete the upload,.

Once saved, a thumbnail of the file will appear in your image list.

Managing the Image Library

You can view a comprehensive list of all images uploaded for templates, notes, and transactions in the Company Administration area.

To view the Image Library:

1. Click the Gear icon to access Company Administration.

2. Under the Data section, click on Attachments & Images.

3. The list displays the File Name, Size, Type, and who added it. You can sort this list by clicking on any column header or filter it by clicking Filters +,.

Deleting Images

If you need to remove an image, you can do so from the Utilities > Customization > Images screen by clicking the image thumbnail and selecting Delete.

Critical Warning: If you delete an image that is currently being used in a template (e.g., your standard Client Bill), the template will no longer print the image. You must edit all affected templates to remove the broken link or replace it with a new image
